I thought me getting Shiny Arctozolt at 456 encounters was just a fluke, but there seems to be a trend here, because I did it again with another fossil Pokemon, a Shiny Dracovish at 337 encounters.

Previous times I've been blessed with early shinies have also been Shiny Arceus at 1107 and Shiny galarian Corsola at 22 eggs.
