I decided to check out this free and extremely simple card game here.
Turns out it's probably the most fun I've had in a card game in a very long time, and yes while there is a lot of random elements that will cause both joy and frustration alike, its core mechanics and design choices are nothing short of genius.
Every match is less than 5 minutes long, the size of the deck combined with the number of cards you draw per game on average means you'll usually get to use your intended combo, and even if it doesn't work or gets countered by the opponent's deck, the random element of the locations' effects CAN still give you a win even when things seem very dire.

I suspect I'll be playing a lot more of this game with time, and I might make more videos, most challenging part for me is actually the thumbnails here, surprisingly.

Anyway, if you happen to check the game out too by virtue of this video and you like reading descriptions, DO NOT go all the way to infinite rank! Something in the matchmaking completely broke and as a result, I always get matched with extremely unfair opponents who are always in the top 500, when my rank is in the 10000s, and while even then I STILL manage to win sometimes, it's quite rare when the decks my opponents are running are quite a lot stronger at that level on average, so RNG can only carry one so far.
