Welcome,

Today I finish the quests in Armorica Village surrounding Minnith (though some spelling online appear to be Minneth). This side quests bugged me, because the character of Derek was not even remotely suspicious of this random businessman who asked for deeds without any sort of proper collateral, and for some reason he has the power to sign over property rights to at least some of the village. Why would someone who isn't even guaranteed to become the village chief be able to make these decisions. This causes an issue with the fundamental premise of the sidequest, and I wish there was even a single line (maybe there was somewhere) about how the village chief was actively transitioning to retirement or something to justify his son having the level of power necessary to sign documents.
