How I got Shiny Gen 2 Wooper in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet! In Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, Gen 2 Wooper is a Pokémon Scarlet & Violet In-game Trade Exclusive Pokémon that is only available as a trade from an NPC. You can only get a Shiny Quagsire in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet by breeding a Shiny Gen 2 Wooper and evolving Shiny Gen 2 Wooper into Shiny Quagsire. Since the Gen 2 Wooper & Quagsire are special Pokémon they won't be registered in the Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet PokéDex but in my opinion, they still count for the Scarlet & Violet Shiny Dex. I wanted to see what Shiny Gen 2 Wooper looks like in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet so I hatched eggs for Shiny Gen 2 Wooper to evolve into Shiny Quagsire, to hatch a Shiny Gen 2 Wooper I used the Masuda Method with the Shiny Charm to increase the Shiny Odds for a Shiny Gen 2 Wooper Hatch! Currently, this Shiny Hunt can be really hard in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet and I'm so happy I got Shiny Gen 2 Wooper & Shiny Quagsire in my Shiny Dex. The next time we get another Special Event for another Exclusive Pokémon I will Shiny Hunt this Limited Exclusive Pokémon as well!
