So, I've put many, many (many) hours into Factorio, but I've only ever really played vanilla. Sometimes with a couple of Quality-of-life mods, sometimes with a couple of little extras but nothing that chances the game too much. But I think it's time to change things up. In a bit to see if I can re-experience the beginning days of figuring stuff out from scratch, and the joy of experimentation and discovery, I downloaded a couple of mods.

I have zero experience of play with these mods, and have deliberately avoided looking into them too much. All I know is that they are popular, complicated (especially in tandem with each other) and very, very game-changing.

Okay, now we're starting to get to grips with the basics, shall we see if we can get some science done?
