I love these characters! Pokemon Scarlet Victory Road Story Completed with ANNOUNCER COMMENTARY
0Some characters I like--some I hate. The cutscenes in this game are great. I want more.
Something you should know: This was my second try. I lost the first time. LOL
Nemona's the best rival in the franchise 100%. Awesome character. Between her and I, I couldn't tell who loves battling more. Hmm... :/
Ash needs to travel with her (and the other main protagonists). PLEASE!
Seviper had to come off my competitive team--replaced by Scream Tail because it wasn't working. It's fine though. I like both pokemon designs equally.
The game isn't balanced, but so far I've been winning a lot with my "underused" team. It's probably the least unbalanced meta yet partially due to terastallization.

I'm adding a negative about this game that was not in my original written review.
Game Freak made it possible to learn egg moves without breeding using the mirror herb; HOWEVER, we cannot use the mirror herb to get missed "pre-evolution only" moves. This must be an oversight. I had to get a new Skeledirge so I could have Yawn as one of his moves -_-

I can't rate the game based on how balanced the multiplayer (pvp) is compared to the others; because I don't yet have a fully competitive team put together. It seems a little better than Sword and Shield at least.
So far I'm very happy with this game except for these gripes I have
Negatives:
-The poor performance issues do not bother me much besides Hariyama's animations looking very cringy and awkward, especially from far away.
-Tinkaton's pre-evolution, Tinkatuff, is literally an eyesore. I hate its mouth.
-A lot of the Paldea Pokemon have bad/lackluster designs. Few are cool. Some are decent.
-The NPC trainer designs are awful. Too many old people and odd facial features/body types. It's annoying to see the NPC trainers clap with goofy smiles at the beginning and end of a battle. The majority of trainer classes stopped being enjoyable to look at starting with Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee. But they are much more terrible in Scarlet and Violet.
-A lot of the music is good, but the Elite 4 theme is very bland and made it semi-anticlimactic. However, the first time I played was without the patch. I'm not aware of the music being adjusted in version 1.01.
-The designs of some gym leaders and the champion are not good.
-The Battle Recorder still is exempt from the game!?
-No Battle Tower
-Serperior is not in the game...
-Australians had the privilege of playing 15 hours earlier than me for no reason. All regions should have their digital pre-orders unlocked at the exact same time worldwide.
-Single Battles still have a FORCED 20-minute match timer.
If I remember any more complaints, I will mention them in future videos.
Overall, the game is fantastic. I want to say that I love it. Nothing will beat Pokemon Stadium, but it's a real treat so far. I say this before I see people using broken strategies online again that prevent me from winning with my favorite pokemon team combination.
I can't wait to get my hands on charizard :)
Unfortunately, when that time comes my Skeledirge will have to go...
