I Made a Puzzle Horror Game but Everything is Temporary (Game Jam)
59Mini Jam 115: A noir themed game jam with the limitation: Everything is temporary. I use this idea to make a puzzle horror game in just 3 days. The game's main mechanic is that when you point your characters flashlight away from things, they change. This creates a very interesting puzzle system.

Mini jam is a 72-hour-long video game development jam that occurs every two weeks on Itch.io.
A required limitation is announced as soon as the jam starts to spice things up. Remember, limitation breeds creativity. You get the theme early, so you can plan ahead, Just keep in mind that you may have to change your idea when the limitation is revealed. This jam's theme is Colors. Remember, theme is purely inspirational and not required. Feel free to interpret it however you want.
Limitation: Everything is Temporary
More of a theme than a limitation. Feel free to interpret this as much as you like, just make sure you can convince others of said interpretation. Gameplay wise this could be implemented as a constantly changing card deck, or having the world fall out from beneath the player. Making the limitation play into the narrative is also an option. There's a lot of wiggle room here, so get creative with it.
