The Sega Dreamcast is easily my favorite console that I have ever owned. I actually had 2 laying around, and with one that was starting to have trouble with the disk drive, I decided it was time to mod it.

In this video I go through my modding process by replacing the GD Rom Drive with a GDEMU and I decided to also give my console a face lift with a complete shell replacement. Big shout out to Laser Bear Industries for sending me a 3D printed insert for the project. Links for everything will be down below.

I would say this is an entry level modification, took about 45 minutes from start to finish, and it went very smooth. I think in the future I would like to add an HDMI port to this console and possibly toy with the TerraOnion MODE.
