The crust is the best part of any steak. It’s salty, crunchy and packed with flavor due to a process called the Maillard reaction. The goal when cooking a steak is to develop the thickest crust possible and naturally we had to figure out if using the crust of one steak to season a new steak would take it to the next level. Sadly one steak had to be sacrificed but the results were extremely interesting!
