I Smoked a WHOLE ALLIGATOR + Made Gator Jerky
6,986I always have a hard time explaining what alligator tastes like. It’s almost like a hybrid between chicken and fish (which I know sounds weird), but it’s actually delicious. It has a mild flavor and the texture is really great especially when smoked. If you’re able to get your hands on one, I highly recommend giving it a shot!
In this video we also made alligator jerky. Between the thicker layers of fat, alligator meat is actually quite lean, which is ideal for making jerky. Next time I’ll have to buy a bigger alligator, but overall I was extremely happy with these results!
