I have an original Xbox 360 Elite 120Gb.
And lately Ive had this problem where, once I press "open tray" the tray remains closed.
It will take me 4/5 attempts for it to open, once open, and a disk is placed in the Xbox, it displays;
"Disk unreadable" Or, "Unrecognised disk".
Again, this will take me 4/5 attempts to get it to read the game correctly and play it.

Its been doing this for about 6months. And gradually being getting worse.
Today I sat and played me some Halo 3, and then out of no-where the "Disk unreadable" message popped up DURING GAMEPLAY..
So I had to close the game and re-open it. Typically it had not saved within the past hour..
And ever since its been doing.. this noise.. D:

*Note* Any downloaded apps/ games play and work perfectly fine. Anything that relies on internal computing has no issue what so ever! Its only disks that play up.
Whats strange is that Original Xbox games, and DVD disks have no issue playing, its only Xbox 360 games that do. And yet the game icon appears on the "Play game" tile. (Meaning the Xbox has read and recognised the disk.)

I have a feeling my disk drive has worn out and possibly needs replacing.. anyone agree?
