I Tried an ECLIPSE ONLY Assurance Run - Solo Lethal Company Gameplay
Assurance has some of the best loot compared to the other free moons. I'm personally more of a March enjoyer because of the prevalence of bee spawns, but when bees are out of the picture or weather comes into play, Assurance is the next moon I look toward. Assurance also has the added bonus of having rare rather than regular giant spawns.
I got even more interested in Assurance after mine and Brian's Fire Exit only ironman, where our first Assurance map had nearly 300 scrap value at the entrance alone, plus a cash register not too far away. I also started noticing in my runs that assurance was regularly offering around 500-700 total scrap value per map, which is insane given that it's only the "second" map in the game.
I started thinking that Assurance will be a much bigger determinant of my success in my hardcore ironman runs, so I wanted to get better at navigating this map while eclipsed. That said, I did have a decent amount of practice running the exterior of this map while attempting to full clear this week's challenge moon with Larry and Nico, since that moon is also an eclipsed Assurance and most of my time on that challenge run was spent shuttling items back and forth. So I AM pretty comfortable running the exterior of this map, but in this run I practiced running without the silent crouch run in case it gets patched out before my next hardcore ironman attempt. Though I'm pretty confident in my abilities to run scrap without it too.
I tried staying inside the facility longer than in my previous eclipse only runs here not only because I think a veteran player should be able to survive and thrive while doing so, but also because I have a newfound confidence after the fire exit only attempts. Being able to deeply navigate the interiors may be beneficial in the hardcore ironman in the event that I go dry on my loot spawns and am required to go deeper than I would normally like.
This is a bit of a shorter video since this IS one of my more practiced eclipse moons, but I wanted to share it anyway for completionist's sake.
Not sure when I'll upload my next eclipse only moon-exclusive run since I have some fun collabs in the works for this week, so I'll see which videos get edited and when. I don't have a backlog of videos, so these daily uploads are happening because I'm playing, editing and uploading on a daily basis.
So subscribe to the channel if you want to support a gamer with that kind of workflow. I'll continue with this pace regardless, but seeing the numbers go up helps me a lot more than you'd think!

SPOILERS:
Looking back, I think I was just super unlucky with the worms actually. They both basically insta-popped and even if I was already running forward I'm pretty sure I would have died still with that kind of timing. Happened in my Eclipse Only Vow run too. Worms are pretty easy to deal with otherwise but sometimes you just get timing'd and that's okay. When you play a lot of Lethal Company it's bound to happen. You win some and you lose some. For me, as long as I can still put out a video then it's a win every time, lol.
