I tried to recreate FOREVER WINTER using Doom II mods - What do you think?
31HEY THERE.. i have tried to recreate FOREVER WINTER in DOOM.
I have used CHASM monster pack for the dark and gritty theme, AKIMBO weapons for reloading and realistic themed ones and OPEN WORLD FREE ROAM MAPPACK to give a hub system to the mod.
Also of course and insane ammount of graphical addons to get the dark and depressing look going. I will try changing RELITE with FOG to make it more depressing even. ALSO .. the OST and ambient sounds. Ive used ANGRY monsters and WARM WELCOME to generate infighting between the monsters so that it sounds and feels like you re in a warzone. Also an inventort system and hud for enemy spotting. I wanted to use the ROBOT COMPANION to get the feeling of not going alone. But it ws too buggy. Also, sadly there where are few vanilla enemies spawning.

❗ DISCLAIMER - I MOSTLY show modcombos running on a Snapdragon 865+/888+ and a 8/16gb ram phone/ OR since September 2024 on the fastest Android phone in the world. At least at that time. RED MAGIC 9 PRO with snapdragon 7TH GEN 3 and 23gb ram. That thing has RAYTRACING even... That's High End Hardware . If you have a mid or low end device it's absolutely possible those mod combos I show will run extremely slow or won't even start .
that's not an issue with the APP . You NEED high end hardware to run these mods on mobile at 50% resolution . Even I couldn't run them at 100% with all the mods and add-ons I use until now with the new phone .❗
