I'll finally get to experience the boss of this game, after all this time.

Yeah, this goes all the way back to when I finished Kamilia 2 5 years ago. I'd started playing this game around the same time, and basically made it all the way to that last save. That's when I finally experienced the burnout that Kamilia 2 had caused me, and was basically done playing difficult fangames.

Then, I accidentally saved over the save file, because it turns out starting a different file will save over your only one. I'm actually kind of surprised how low the playtime is given how long I've left this hanging. This file was halfway on stage 5 and had a playtime of barely over an hour when I picked this up again this week.

Almost every part of the final stage is pretty straightforward. It's all tough but fair. I seem to recall back in 2015 finding it about the same difficulty as the later parts of Kamilia 2. Just steadily made my through them.

And there's the last save which is basically it's own challenge separate from the rest of the game. Did I mention how I consider doing falling sections to be my worst skillset in these game? So basically. If this was a segment that had a save point after that first fall, it would be on par with the harder parts of the rest of the game. However, that's not case. You have to do two very hard segments in a row. The thing is, it usually takes a while to get past the first fall, so you can't easily get into a pattern to do the second fall. It's like doing it first time almost everytime.

The first part is funny, sometimes I'd just do it automatically like 20 times in a row, and other times I'd die on it like 10 times in a row. Usually I'd get through within 3 attempts each time though, it's super fast and really a non-factor except sometimes screwing with your rhythm for the falls.

The final part isn't really hard, but it is tricky enough that it's the kind of thing you can screw up on, which is what happened twice to me. I'd say I could probably make that kind of jump at least 50%+ of the time, but again, the trick is keeping your focus when you do the earlier segments repeatedly.

The key for me with doing exceptionally difficult sections like this is I get a feeling that progress on it is being made, and I actually had that sense this time around.
