You heard that right, true believers! There was once a time in Marvel comics where Spider-Man went through a "Peter Parker No More" phase and became 'The Spider' for a little while. This comic dub is from easily the best part of that, thanks to writer J M Dematteis.

It was not well received, was canned pretty much immediately, and led right into the Spider-Man Clone Saga where JMD got to play around a little with it before introducing Ben Reilly and throwing us into the full swing of the 90s Clone Saga!
