I wore a suit to work and got my supervisor soft demoted Part 2
In this candid reflection, I share the second part of my experience navigating an unreasonable seminar that demanded we "improve" to hit unrealistic case targets. Ironically, I was already exceeding 40 daily cases, yet I attended after hours, absorbing irrelevant HR advice, and maintaining a facade to meet standards. Now, my strategy has shifted—I adhere strictly to completing 40 cases, no more. My manager's concern over my "drop" in performance only solidifies my point, yet I remind them I'm complying with the rules. Interestingly, the company is now seeking two new managers, likely to fill the gap left by their shortsighted policies. Their actions unknowingly created this situation, proving that complications often arise from their own misguided decisions.
