Happy New Year's everybody! One of the wildest and zaniest dance songs of 1979. Released in the UK as a single in November 1978 and peaking there in January 1979, it became a frequently requested number in the United States throughout the summer and autumn of 1979. I find it curious that it is not listed as having charted in the US at all as I purchased the single around July 1979 to play at the bar I worked at and recall it getting a lot of airplay besides. I had hoped to do an Indiana Jones style journey of these countries mentioned via an animated map, but had to settle for the actual locations. Lots of dancing and, ummm, other things related to the lyrics by Ian Dury. Enjoy!
