The Green Edition's unique ending features Ib sacrificing herself for both Garry and Mary to escape the horror art gallery (forcefully by Ib).

Any of these choices are sad (less so for leaving Mary behind), the options of exiting the house where Mary's painting is is only available in the Green Edition.

"Choosing Him" is the normal ending, which ends the game as it started, with Ib being the parents only child.

"Choosing Her" is one hypothetical ending, which ends the game different than it started, with Ib's parents having two children being Ib and Mary.

"Choosing Both" is another hypothetical ending, which ends the game much differently than started, as Ib's parents having no children. Garry and Mary are both siblings, and discovering a painting of Ib within the art gallery.
