7Remember the good ol' days when you played MK on SNES? No?? Well you were probably the kid that stuck with the Genesis version just for the blood codes. Today we're taking a huge blast to the past to play one of my favorite games that introduced me to the MK Franchise as small kid, The OG Mortal Kombat by Acclaim. Although inferior in terms of violence, the ported version had the best soundtrack and graphics in my opinion. Watch as I climb the ladder and overthrow Shang Tsung; ending Outworld's 9 straight winning streak!
Mortal Kombat has been a part of my life as long as I can remember and it's crazy to think that Mortal Kombat 11 is just about 50 days from release. To celebrate this upcoming masterpiece, I'm going to try and play through almost every single main installment of this phenomenal franchise up to Mortal Kombat X. Each playthrough will not be perfect but I hop you enjoy the ride along the way!
