After having such a blast last year I couldn't not come back to Iceman. It's pretty surreal doing 20mph for 30 miles through the woods on single track and twisty forest service road. Not to mention flying up Icebreaker hill toward the finish and being enveloped in the cheer from the crowd. It's hard to feel your legs even when the tank is empty.

I didn't come away with the result I wanted. A stick forced my derailleur into crash mode. I had to stop to reset it and by that time the front group was out of sight. Stephen and I rallied back to the lead pack, during a lull in pace, and made contact just before Alexy sent winning move.

Stings to think "what if?" but that is bike racing. The field was stacked and 9th place isn't too bad. There is always next year.

And before you hate on the drop bar bike setup, it was dialed. No issues form the Libre with 700x50c ravagers. A little bumpy at times but I was pushing and my set up was keeping pace.

These videos take a lot of time to make and sometimes the adventures are expensive. If you feel like donating to encourage/help me offset costs, THANKYOU! Your contribution is greatly appreciated and gives me the resources to provide y'all more content.
