7Before we get into MST3K Season 1, here's a between-seasons special!
While we all waited for MST3K to come back, we had Rifftrax and Cinematic Titanic, but they weren't quite the same. A fan group from Kansas City in 2008 took matters into their own hands and created likely the most significant fan-homage to MST3K, "Incognito Cinema Warriors XP", using the tried and true formula of a guy trapped with robots watching bad movies to appease a mad scientist!
In ICWXP's premiere episode, paramilitary officer Rick Wolf takes refuge from the zombie apocalypse in an abandoned movie theater, which conveniently has robot friends and a maniacal mad scientist built in! We find out why Rick has to watch the films, how plants absorb light, how you can turn your enemies into raging gorillas, and I give an impassioned plea to series creator Rikk Wolf! Let's take a look at ICWXP [101]!
