Idle Heroes - Gate of the Void: Galactic Tree and Starspawn Guide
71With the new update finally out, it's time for my Idle Heroes Gate of the Void guide to the Galactic Tree and Starspawn! This is a shorter, simpler guide, but stay tuned for my Void Ark guide tomorrow.

First up we have the Galactic Tree. This is going to be where you will hatch your new protoss creatures, level them up, and level up the Galactic Tree itself.
Note that leveling up the tree takes these void gnars, and this is the only place that you'll use them. You can feel free to level up the tree whenever you want. That said, they're not really that useful
of a resource and all it does is increase your monster damage bonus. Other than that, you will use Stardust to level up your new Protoss (Starspawn) monsters.
The first thing you want to know is when awakening a protoss monster you have a guaranteed chance to hatch an egg on your very first attempt, as well as every 15 attempts. This means that you want to focus on the best eggs and protoss you want to obtain.
I'll cover all of the different eggs and Starspawn monsters towards the end, but you'll get these void eggs from exploration inside the Void Ark (which I'm going to cover in tomorrow's video).
Once you start the incubation you're locked into it until it is over. Alo it will automatically de-duplicate monsters for you, so if you get a light protoss you won't get a light the next time and so on. This incubation is going to take 20 hours and you'll be locked in. You could speed this up with gems, but generally speaking it's not going to be worth it.
So for your first as well as your pity eggs you're going to want to use Somber eggs. The reason for this is somber eggs have a chance to hatch Transcendence, Light, or Dark Starspawn Protoss. These are going to be the three best Protoss that you can unlock.
