Illinois State Police - Your Papers, Please! - Nazi Checkpoint Exposed
Southern Illinois Public Observers
Part 2: https://youtu.be/fBjYKC1-itM
There are several people mouthing, swearing, and generally rambling in the car during this illegal and unlawful detention, so, in an attempt to keep it ad-friendly, those parts have been cut out. It doesn't contribute anything and cutting it out doesn't detract from the message.
Sobriety checks, or Roadside Safety Checks, sometimes called DUI roadblocks, have been found to be constitutional by the courts.
This illegal "papers please" checkpoint, however, is an unconstitutional checkpoint. This checkpoint was for the sole purpose of checking drivers' licenses. At no point was any driver of any vehicle ever asked if they had been drinking.
