Today we are checking out a new game called Immortal Planet. Immortal Planet is currently in a closed beta but it is planned to be released around the end of July 2017. I was able to get my hands on a copy of the game to see if it is worth your while.
Immortal Planet is a beautiful 2d isometric game set in a mysterious frozen planet, there is not too many details at first because the main character just woke up from a cryo sleep and has no memory of his past. You are an awakewalker - an immortal being that is now wandering this planet searching for answers.
If you are a fan of Dark Souls games, I'm sure you will enjoy playing Immortal Planet. It plays very similar to those games in a 2d isometric view. Many of the mechanics remain the same. Be prepared for a challenge though because this game does not mess around.
Overall, I thought the game was very enjoyable - especially if you are a fan of the Dark Souls series.
