If you took a list of all the best Saturn exclusive titles & cross referenced that with all the games that never made it out of Japan. You would have a fairly long list handed back to you with Bulk Slash being firmly stamped in at #1 (or at least somewhere in the top 5). Everything about Bulk Slash is just plain wonderful. The way it looks, the way it sounds, the way it plays. The whole game just oozes personality & charm. The story is non-existent other than a couple of extended dialogue scenes around the end of the campaign but that's no big loss. The point of the game is running & flying around large open environments blowing shit up with your infinite supply of missiles & fighting massive bosses! How this game wasn't a huge success & never received a sequel is beyond me.

Oh & btw, silky smooth frame rate the whole time.
