Improvements to some VT369 / VT32 based Lexibook units in MAME (bootleg NES games!)
Yep, welcome to bootleg city. Even the fairly recent Power Console contains a straight up bootleg hack of 1st party Nintendo NES game 'Pinball' and it's barely even disguised apart from removing the Nintendo logo and title screen. If it wasn't clear (as they are a bit better disguised) Billiard is a hack of Lunar Pool (NES) and Dada is a hack of Popeye (NES) neither is unique to these units, but I decided to play them anyway.
In terms of what's on show here, the units used all use previously unimplemented video modes, the Lexibook 300-in-1 TV units are VT369 based, while the Power Console appears to be VT32 based.
The menus in the 300-in-1 unit are meant to run in a higher resolution, but for now (to make adding support easier) I'm rendering them in standard resolution. The menus on the 300-in-1 units also use a new sprite format. The Power Console uses 16x16 8bpp tiles and a different attribute format, probably also (yet another) new sprite format too, but seems to be VT32 based rather than VT369 and it works rather differently to the new mode added on the VT369.
