Just some tidbits on my approach to improving my fps aim using Unreal Tournament 1999. Also my usual rambling commentary and tips. :)

What is really good is that Force Gaming did a video basically doing the same thing I'm doing here. It's a little different but the basic concept is the same and I highly recommend utilizing his method. It's the same concept but being in the game engine (ie. overwatch's custom engine) is paramount to getting your skill up to where it needs to be. You need to get to the point where the game engine / world is more natural to you then walking in RL. you need to feel the movement feel the aiming cursor. In fact you should be able to turn your aiming cursor off entirely and still be just as accurate. Highly recommend this vid from "force gaming"..

he recommends turning your dmg up and their headshots off.. i disagree here.. turn there dmg to 300% and your's to 50%. You want to also work on your movement. in a game like Overwatch or quake or UT99 movement is more important (imo) than aim. As stylosa said the most important thing in this game is NOT dying. So work on your evasion / dance / straife whatever you want to call but don't turn off bot dmg. If you can make the bots do very good dmg so that your shots have to have to HAVE to land very frequently for you to be successful. Do about 3 games per day with a high limit.. as i mention in my UT vid. if you can do about 45 minutes to 60 minutes of real concentration doing this type of play you'll see great increases in your skill level. Remember that your movement in overwatch is as important as your aim. I won't go into the specifics of "HOW" to move as .. for right now.. i want to get your feedback.. good luck
