In Between Spaces: Experimental Short Film Shot on the HUAWEI Pura 80 Ultra
23While filming our featured video for the HUAWEI Pura 80 Series, we took sooo much footage that we were able to stitch something a bit more creative than our usual work.
The experimental short shows the cinematic capability of the HUAWEI Pura 80 Ultra with its large 1-inch ultra-high dynamic sensor. In fact, while most flagship smartphone HDR cameras have an exposure value of 10 to 14EV, the HUAWEI Pura 80 Series goes up to 16EV putting it at par with some cinema rigs already.
With this in mind, we opted to shoot in 3 locations without the help of any auxiliary 3rd-party lighting system and stability rig. Everything was shot handheld -- challenging the lowlight video-taking capabilities of the HUAWEI Pura 80 Ultra. We hope you enjoy this 3-minute short film as much as we enjoyed producing it.
