In diamond structure, carbon atoms form fcc lattice and \( 50 \% \) tetrahedral voids occupied by carbon atoms. Every carbon atoms is surrounded tetrahedrally by four carbon atoms with bond length \( 154 \mathrm{pm} \). Germanium, silicon and grey tin also crystallise in same way as diamond. \( \left(N_{A}=6 \times 10^{23}\right) \)
The mass of diamond unit cell is :
(a) \( 96 \mathrm{amu} \)
(b) \( 96 \mathrm{gm} \)
(c) \( 144 \mathrm{amu} \)
(d) \( 144 \mathrm{gm} \)
