In Loving Memory of The Greatest Rapper That Ever Lived - Lamont 'Big L' Coleman
Harlem's Finest. Where do I start. My favourite rapper of all time. A legend who's life was cut terribly short, on this day 20 years ago. Representing 139 & Lenox, which he called the Danger Zone, Big L released his debut in 1995, titled Lifestylez ov da Poor and Dangerous. This is my personal favourite album of all time, and Put It On was the first song I ever remembered off by heart! L made dope tracks with the likes of Lord Finesse, Showbiz and AG, Fat Joe, and O.C., as a member of the legendary Diggin' In The Crates crew. L, you are the undisputed KING of rap in my eyes. Thank you for giving us the greatest album of all time! Rest easy L.
