Part 1 - Something Strange Is Happening Here
Welcome to In Sound Mind, an interesting type of game, in the style of a first person horror. But it appears to be so much more than that, as it is unique in its concept and certain mechanics we will discover later. We take the role of a psychiatrist trapped in his apartment building, and needing to explore the psyche of some of his patients. We find our office, and a talking cat, that apparently doesn't seem too out of place compared to what's to come. We head to the apartment of one of our patients, and find our first tape. When we bring it back to our office and his play, the whole world changes around us, and leaving through the door, leads down a path into our patient's mind. We find ourselves at a run down shopping mall, with a ghostly monster roaming around. We trick it into smashing into a mirror, and grab a shard which we will be using throughout the game to check behind us, and look for hidden clues in the environment. We need to smash all the mirrors in this department store, and have some more puzzles to solve before we can accomplish this. We will continue and explore this strange world, next time.
