Let's play The Kingsport Cases, a procedural horror mystery adventure game by Machines in Motion. Using the Lovecraftian Cthulhu mythos as its background, the game let's you play as a detective who has to investigate strange proceedings at a Kingsport dinner party. The game is procedurally generated, meaning that each new case you play will slightly vary from it a previous playthrough (it does sound a little like a rogue-like Clue meets Shadow of the Comet or Alone in the Dark). In this video, we'll take a look at an early Alpha version and witness some basic gameplay mechanics at play....
