23What horrors has the Upuaut Expedition uncovered in the ice? We get a glimpse when we return to the biology lab and then journey even deeper into the complex. There are Elder Things, references to ancient civilizations, and all the Lovecraftian references you can hope for. Given that it hews very closely to Lovecraftian lore, darkness and madness await.
It’s time to start our search for clues among the abandoned buildings of our research complex. Conarium has pleasant graphics (it came out in 2017) and a good sense of atmosphere. I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of Lovecraftian horrors await us as we begin our Conarium playthrough.
This is a blind playthrough of Conarium, a horror game with exploration and puzzle elements set in a world closely based on H.P. Lovecraft’s stories, including At the Mountains of Madness. As we explore the world, it becomes clear that something isn’t right with our character (one Mr. Gilman) and that the expedition that we were part of has tapped into some dark and unspeakable thing that twists the mind. I intend to make this a full let’s play Conarium series. I can’t wait to see how Conarium imagines the eldritch creatures and architectures from H.P. Lovecraft’s stories. Tales of Lovecraftian horror always fascinate me, so join me, and let’s play Conarium!
In Conarium, we explore the environment to find lore, solve puzzles, and progress the story. The world is full of exploration, horrifying sights, and Lovecraftian references. Conarium has the potential to be an interesting experience, and I am excited for the full blind Conarium playthrough.
In Episode 1 of the Conarium blind playthrough, we wake in the research base and must learn what has happened to the others in our group. In Episode 2 of the Conarium walkthrough, we continue piecing together the last moments before we woke up and learn that the crew has been having visions of impossible architecture and dark, shadowy places. In Episode 3, we return to he biology lab, find the frozen Elder Things, and explore the tower and caves beneath the Antarctic base. Along the way, we learn that we are near the Mountains of Madness, and the bigger picture begins to come into focus. I’m very curious to see where things go from here, so get ready for some interesting times as we play Conarium together!

Soon you will discover that having used the device during the expedition, you have died but then returned subtly changed, speaking of strange memories and of strange places.
