It’s time to slim into the shoes of Enris, a gamedec living in future Warsaw and making her living as a detective investigating crimes – and other incidents – that occur in and around the games that people play in this cyberpunk future. The central concept of Gamedec is that player choice matters and affects the outcome of everything from the story, to character development, to reputation, and even individual investigation outcomes. So join me as we play through Gamedec on PC together.

This is a blind playthrough of Gamedec, an RPG (roleplaying) game from Anshar Studios that focuses on dialogue, exploration, and player choice. What we do will affect whether we get information to solve our case. It’s a noire thriller, a cyberpunk adventure, and an isometric RPG all rolled into one game. I intend to make this a full let’s play Gamedec series. I can’t wait to see how Gamedec changes the story line based on players’ choice. The game fascinates me, and has captured my imagination since I first saw it. So join me, and let’s play Gamedec!

Gamedec emulates the nature of tabletop RPGs by focusing on character development through decision making. Gather aspects and craft your unique set of professions that will allow you to lead investigations in a way that fits your style. Discover extraordinary relationships between the virtual worlds and their inhabitants thanks to the gathered information in the codex.
Like in classic tabletop RPGs, you’re given the freedom to approach situations from multiple angles rather than forcing a single solution – the choice is yours and yours alone.
