Incoming Thunderstorm with Strong Updraft (Timelapse)

- Starts off with an odd cloud formation that looks like funnel a cloud. Video shows that it is NOT such a cloud since there is no rotation.
- Video continues by focusing camera on incoming storm.
- Some odd clouds are formed at ground level, likely formed by the cool air from the falling rain in the background, and are sucked high into the air in an updraft.
- Lots of lightning. (One one bolt can be seen directly, early on in the video.)
- A rain curtain is observed closing in from the background, and washed-out the clouds in the sky.
- Eventually, the rain settles in, producing a downpour.
... meanwhile, a chipmunk nearby is not deterred by the weather. :)

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for central Suffolk County, east central Middlesex County and south central Essex County until 6:45 p.m. A previous tornado warning has expired.
National Weather Service says the tornado warning is due to a thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado, but there's no confirmation of a tornado; however, the agency is urging people to take shelter.
The storm is moving east at 30 mph.
Some impacted communities include: Boston, Somerville, Malden, Medford, Revere, Arlington, Everett, Chelsea, Melrose, Saugus, Stoneham, Winchester and Winthrop.
If you're in the area, go to a basement or interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building and stay away from windows. If you're in a vehicle, a mobile home or outdoors, get to the nearest shelter.
