"The Adventures of Captain So-So and Mister Maybe' is a comedy comic book series created by me, Adam Tupper. It is best described as "Calvin & Hobbes meets The Tick meets The Simpsons seasons 4-10". It follows Captain So-So and Mister Maybe, two slackers in their late-20s who are trying to balance crime-fighting with bingeing tv and retro videogames.
Along the way they meet Superiora, an up-and-coming superheroine who is overworked and underappreciated; The Super Star League, a team of female and female-identified heroes lead by a super-influencer; The Excellence, the world's most famous superhero; a group of superhero trainees that include a living cape and an air-guitar enthusiast; a robotics professor obsessed with sandwiches; and many evil doctors. Hijinks ensue at every turn, and more than a few pop culture references are made. It's a readable, progressive, modern sitcom with superpowers. Also robots. Lots and lots of robots."
