182Miasmata by developer IonFX is a very interesting exploratory first-person adventure. Players assume the role of a scientist who has contracted an eventually terminal disease and wakes up on a (lsemi) deserted island filled with things to discover and map with a real, working line-of-sight cartography system. There's a lot of really bold ideas here and they may be slightly hampered by some shaky execution at times, but for the most part I think Miasmata is a very rewarding experience to be had.
