Lifeless Planet is a 3D narrative adventure for PC, Mac, Xbox One, and PS4. Developed by David Board of Stage 2 Studios, the game features an astronaut who has crash-landed on a barren planet that has apparently been populated by Cold War-era Russians. How did they get here, and what happened to the life that NASA had detected? I spoke with Board about the game's new graphics engine for the PS4 release, its 2011 Kickstarter, manned vs. robotic space exploration, and science fiction.
