This trick no longer works! It has been patched many months ago. They fixed it by automatically releasing Nabbit from your character on pause.

Can be done with any character but must be performed in training and on Mushroom Kingdom U because Nabbit is the only character that can be grabbed and then frozen by the training pause menu.
