Infinite Doom - Part 7.6 (Japanese Community Project, Final Doomer+, War Trophies, and more)
Well, I was hoping this would be the last day of the JPCP. It's had its ups and downs. Part of that being the Final Doomer+ weapon set. I don't really like this one, most of the time. But today, oh god. These maps today simply weren't fun. They took the slaughter map route, but not in a way that's viable really. Too many wide open areas with revenants and archviles, NO cover for their attacks. Or just SURROUNDING the player with enemies from all sides, so there's no way to see and dodge them all. That doesn't work. Slaughter maps can be fine, look at Hellbound Map 29. But you have to give your player a chance to respond to them. Damage mitigation. I've discussed it many times. These maps?
