Infinite Undiscovery: (10) - Castle Prevant - Inner Castle [Part1]
2Welcome to Castle Prevant! This is the first part in a 3 part video that i included for this large dungeon. If you want to see how to acquire the "capell to the rescue" achievement, just click on the link displayed in this video.
The first real lengthy dungeon in the game. Its also really the first time that you really get to practice juggles and combo's by the time your done with this dungeon you should be very used to the combat system and be able to pull off nice combo's rather easy. With the Cutting Gavotte battle skill, it enables Capell to really stack on the damage and get those longer higher combo chains.
I would recommend that you enter this dungeon at around lvl 8 or so to be on the safe side. You will end up grinding quite alot as you move your way to the top, especially if your trying to fill out the entire area and gather every single item like i did.
Keep in mind that some of the treasures are in the "cell rooms" where you have to rescue the captives, in this long version of the dungeon, I won't be focusing on rescuing them. Instead when you enter their cells after their time runs out, you will find a soldier in place of them that you will have to kill but each of the 4 cells contains valuable items that you will want to gather on your way back down before you move onto the boss fight.
Specifically in this part of the video, i did take a detour and long trek back down to the bottom floor to acquire that chest in the cell room. You don't have to do this you can wait till after edward joins your party then gather both chests later, this saves some time.
These 3 video's mostly focuses on the proper way to complete the dungeon and get as many party advantages as you can, as well as gathering every item.
Always use Aya's Ravaging Raptor for every Gargoyle you encounter, you never know which one is fake or which is real. It is best to be safe and not to be caught in those traps.
Tip: Their is a slight chance that one of the Archer Women will drop a Gladies sword. Though this may not look like nothing special right now, it is actually used to create a powerful weapon that capell can use later on against the boss at the end of this dungeon and will make the next situation bonus "defeating him in under 3 min" much easier to pull off.
NOTE: Make sure to acquire at least one Cell key if your not going for the Capell to the rescue achievement. As its an item required for the "compulsive achievement" that you will get at the end of the game. Most likely you will not be working on this on your first playthrough but if you are you do not want to miss this item, as its the only place you can acquire it. After you complete this area, you can never acquire that item again until you play a new game.
