Love the cheesy music, oooh yeah, you know you do.
Sometimes with laptops (and PCs) you can encounter a situation where the machine isn't running as fast as you know it should but you can't find any sensor failures, it's just not running as quick as it should!

Check the temperature on the heatpipe, over the CPU/GPU, and then over the radiator fin area by the fans, it should be relatively similar. If it's hot on the CPU/GPU but cool by the radiators, you might have a dud heat pipe.
