A soldier in the Estonian Army who stepped on an Improvised Explosive Device in 2008, leaving him with life-changing injuries, has fought his way back to the frontline.

The explosion on that fateful day during a routine foot patrol brought his tour of duty in Afghanistan to an abrupt end. But with recovery, minus a leg, came a determination to complete unfinished business.
