A teenager born with a facial deformity in Bosnia is preparing to return to Britain for surgery a decade after British soldiers first came to his rescue.

Stefan Savic was just four when a chance encounter brought troops with the 9th/12th Royal Lancers to his village, where he melted their hearts.

Since then thousands of pounds have been raised, with the latest life-changing operation just around the corner.

We hear from the soldier who made it all happen.
