(OpenVINO stands for McVeigh explains how the toolkit helps developers and data scientists build and deploy smart, high-performing vision applications easier and faster across multiple types of Intel® platforms (CPU, GPU, FPGA, VPU). The toolkit includes a deep learning deployment toolkit with a model optimizer, inference engine, 30+ pretrained models, computer vision algorithms, and samples; optimized functions for OpenCV*, OpenVX* and media encode/decode; OpenCL™ drivers and runtimes, and the Intel® FPGA runtime environment and bitstreams. Altogether the toolkit supports and was validated on more than 100 public and custom models.
