
INSANITY'S BRUTALITY 4.0 with Recurring Nightmare Campaign
Insanity's Brutality is one of the most crazy mods you might ever experience, it's full enhanced zombies, demons and the upgraded stuff that comes in tons. The mod itself was abandoned like 2 years ago. If you thought that the Project Brutality Doomguy was sometimes overpowered, here he is OP all the time. There is no HP/AP maximum cap, so you can get the hilarious amounts of hit points. But the vanilla monsters also became ridiculously OP in some extent, for example the Cacodemons can howl at you in close range, dealing very high amount of damage. The Demon Pinkies can leap at you, what might be quite problematic in small rooms where they might corner you quickly. The Barons of Hell are dumb as always, but they can unleash a barrage of 5 orbs in the same time, their projectiles also pack a lot of punch. Oh, and the basic Zombies can throw frag grenades at you, luckily they also do a lot of friendly fire against their own demon spawn. Though, your Marine guys are also a primary source of player's deaths, they always come when you aim your rocket launcher. You can see at the beginning that I have a Shotgun, this is the Quake 1 Shotty that does not need to reload at all. You can also notice an upgrade for BFG, that gives you an additional fire mode - a highly damaging and dangerous flamethrower.
As for the Recurring Nightmare, remember that the project has been disbanded in favour of Extermination Day. All the stuff you might encounter, is unfinished and may be never done. When you play, some of the switches do not work at all (the most drastic case is no exit in Phobos Lab), you must use a changemap code from the console to proceed.
