Notes: Roachy spots Hex as a real standout candidate for his new squad - he graduated top of his class at the Academy (...ok, out of three) - and recruits him to the precinct. A total gadget freak, Hex.

Hex only appears in the second mission, 'The Soda Bomber'.
He is one of the colleagues that works in the Insecticide department with Chrys.

Hex is mainly used as a way to teach the player that combining item interactions with characters and their environment can create new opportunities, the basics for point-and-click style games.

It is a very simple puzzle interaction:
Hex is sitting on the bomb diagram that is needed by the main character, Chrys.
Hex is too preoccupied with his new weapon to answer any questions by the player.
You notice his coffee mug is out of coffee.
You make a special fresh batch in the coffee pot and bring it to Hex.
Hex springs up from his chair, giving the player a chance to grab the diagram.

Hex's actor is uncredited, but I'm sure it's Greg Abbey, who also voices Roachy Caruthers in the game. Plus, I can hear a bit of Tristan in his voice too from Yu-Gi-Oh! To me, it does sound like he is doing a Phil Hartman impression.

I'd like to do more characters from this game, as it does have such nice charm.
The files don't make it too easy to organise, which is why I always start out with smaller character roles, that don't require too much work and scrutiny.
I've added some clarification to some specific item interactions with the captions, for those who want a little more context.
