10The Bridge
As you leave the mind-controlled men behind and enter this new area, the large thumps you heard earlier will grow louder. It turns out they are massive shockwaves so powerful that the first blast you encounter will destroy your helmet. Take note of the interval between blasts - as things are about to get even more dangerous.
As you move to the right, a large crate is blocking your way, move it to the side, out of the protection of the barrier, and witness the true destructive power of these blast waves. If you are caught in one of these waves, you'll literally be blown to bits, so timing is everything.
Run to the first cover, and wait until the next blast to run to the next one with a lever and quickly pull it to save yourself. However, the barrier up ahead has been moved down because of the lever, so you'll need to pull the lever again just after the blast and make a mad dash for the new barrier.
In your brief respite from the blasts, you'll come upon the next puzzle, a long ladder with a rotating gear that moves in a clockwise circle. Pulling the lever will stop the gear, but as you'll find climbing the ladder and hiding behind the gear - after jumping down you'll be a sitting duck. Instead, pause the gear until the shockwave hits, and then release it, making sure you note that the shockwave hits when the gear is both on the ladder, and on the far right - providing cover on both ends. Once you are sure, run along the gear for cover, and then run right to the rocks for another breather.
Before you can leave this room, you need to ascend another propulsion box, and it has a sizeable delay before firing. With that in mind, run out and yank the switch, then run back the rocks to hide from the blast, then run back to the box to hop on before it fires off, and jump to the right to enter the next area.
In this odd testing room, you'll have a bit to prepare for the next gauntlet. Note the door on rails that spans the length of the room. Don't grab it just yet, but make sure its next to the lever - for as soon as you pull it, the walls will open to the full force of the blast, and that sliding door is your only friend here.
Inside (stylized in-game as INSIDE) is a puzzle-platformer adventure video game developed and published by independent studio Playdead. In the game the player controls a young boy in a monochromatic-like landscape, solving environmental puzzles while avoiding death in a 3D sidescrolling fashion, thematically and visually similar to Playdead's earlier game Limbo.
Inside was released on Xbox One on June 29, 2016, and on Microsoft Windows on July 7, 2016. The game received near-unanimous acclaim upon release, with some critics and reviewers calling it a worthy successor to Limbo 2.
