Install 50 Inch LED Lightbar on a Jeep Wrangler TJ - How To
268In this video I show you how to install an LED light bar. I decided to go with the Mictuning 50 inch curved LED bar from amazon.com. I will have the links to everything at the bottom of the description.
This is going on my 1998 Jeep Wrangler TJ.
To start this project, I first install the Rough Country windshield mounts. Next I mount the light bar to the mounts and bolt it in. Now comes the wiring part. You will need to have wire strippers so you can get the connectors on properly. I cut a small opening in the existing firewall grommet, so I could get the light switch wire through. I was able to get a good switch location on the plastic near the steering wheel. I had to use a dremel tool to cut out the plastic. Once everything is hooked up, I noticed one of the LEDs was not working. I did take the Jeep out at night to show how the LED light bar works. It is very bright.
