Well, I've decided to pass on the Hackintosh idea after thinking long and hard and deciding that it's not beneficial to the machine.

I did consider Windows 7. but the installer wouldn't even start on this machine.

And I do want to get things over with and start using the machine for practical work.

So here we go. Windows 10.
